How about the same as us or a little more?  Let's start there.  It's not hard.
Actually, it is hard.  If it were easy, it would already be done.

Just how high is fair

again the top 10% of income earners pay over 70% of the income taxes

This is so naive, it's adorable.

You keep using that stat.  Do you know if it actually tells us anything?  Do the top 10% make 70% of the income?  What if we....you know, strayed away from this 'home base' stat you keep sharing and have an actual conversation.

As in:  hey longhorn, do you think it's cool that several multi-billionaires pay under 1% in income tax?  Might we increase their tax rate to maybe your rate or mine?  Or do you need to check with Mitch McConnell first, to find out your answer?

If the top 10% are paying in 70% of the tax revenue I dont have a problem with selected taxpayers paying only 1% of their income in tax as long as they followed the law

Now Mr smarty what is your suggestion to get these extra taxes you say exist

do you want to change the tx laws do you want a general tax on wealth

do you want to change to a flat tax system

just what are you suggesting we do

I'd need to see an example of how a billionaire pays under 1% on INCOME tax.  And increasing their tax rate would obviously not change how they manage the tax system, this is a fairly common misconception.  The marginal top income tax rates obviously is well over "under 1%", that simply is not the issue, at all.

often their investments generate losses which the tax law allows to be carried forward to offset future earnings

its a little unfair for a media outlet to take one year out of context and contend the taxpayer pays no taxes on income

My point is how they manage income so as to avoid INCOME taxes.

They don't need to have taxable income, if their managers so choose.  A billionaire has zero need to any taxable income.  So, he doesn't pay income tax.

And yes, in a given year he might choose to 'cash out' and pays a lot in income tax, but he doesn't need to.
