How is the gay couple wanting to get married dictating to others how to live?
Or the woman wanting autonomy over her own body?

First The government should get out of the marriage business plain and simple.

As to a women over her own body, the baby in her womb is not her body, yes inside it, but it is a unique human being with completely separate set of genetics.

I like how France does marriage.  You get legally married at the Marie, by the mayor or official, and then IF YOU WISH you get "married" in a church.

The latter is purely a religious ceremony with zero legal impact.  I've attended two of them, they put on quite the show.

How many of you have your team's College Vault book?  I got the Gophers one after running across one several years back.  Since.....I've bought around fifteen others because of how cool they are.  If you don't know what I am talking about, look them up.  Basically scrapbook histories of each NCAA Football team, with great photos and reprints of old memorabilia like programs and tickets.  All really, really cool.

Well, 2008 ended with a Capital One Bowl against MSU, so that season deserves its own volume

OSU has OSU historian Jack Park, so no need for a poor knock off.

The entire regulatory state is a liberal creation.  Laws against smoking, laws limiting the size of soft drinks, "free speech" areas on campus (because on the rest of campus free speech is not allowed), the vast panoply of laws justified as protecting us from ourselves, that's all liberal stuff.
It's hard for someone to see how his side infringes on the other, but very easy for him to see how the other side infringes on him.
Well, most of the smoking laws exist to protect non-smokers from the effects of smoking.  But otherwise, I agree to the extent that I don't need laws to protect me from myself (others that know me may think differently).  But to abolish those laws, you would also have to find a way to prevent frivolous lawsuits that will inevitably come up because people do not accept liability for their own actions.

UNL Athletic Director Alberts said Nebraska and other Big Ten schools have submitted questionnaires about how they plan to handle Covid-19 protocols. The conference has yet to bounce back a policy. Earlier in his speech, Alberts said it’s likely that a team being unable to field a team because of Covid cases would be considered a forfeit.

— Alberts said he feels confident about where the football team is in terms of vaccination rates with the season set to start in 11 days. He noted that those within the athletic department are still taking saliva covid tests, saying that he took one two days ago.

“I'm really proud of Scott, really proud of our coaches on  how hard they've worked to get our student athletes vaccinated,” Alberts said. “We're in a really good position today I can’t honestly say that a month ago, but today I feel really, really strong where we are. We’re in good shape.”
