I would consider that if I were a decent golfer.  I heard St. Andrews is not too expensive.

The wife does not like "Greek yogurt", and it's amazing how much of the yogurt aisle now is just that, it's hard to find the "regular" stuff.

Kroger no longer carries steelhead trout, which I prefer over any salmon, but Costco has it, but large pieces.

Kirkland branded wines are almost always exceptional values.  Their box cabernet is amazing, but the box chard is just OK.

if I were to be in the vicinity, I'd camp out early to play St. Andrews
I have little reason to be in the area

my daughters would like a week or so long vacation in Cali

Are there Aldis down there? I just got some steelhead trout from there.

We have a few Aldis spotted around (3).  There was one very near us in Cincy, but I didn't much like their meat and fish.  I didn't go there often, have not been to one here, the closest one is maybe 5 miles away.  We usually get the large slab at Costco and I grill it and fridge what we don't eat.  It keeps a while.

My lunch is usually leftovers.

We just don't go to Costco that often, every two weeks or so, and get gas.  It's 8 miles fairly easy drive.

I deem any seafood in AZ suspect, no matter who’s selling it or for how much.

The wife bought three tickets to Hamilton . holy cow.  Daughter is coming down for my Bday.  Not a cheap present at all.

Can't be worth that.
I saw it. Really enjoyed it, actually.

Edit: I see you were paying >$400 per ticket?! Yeah, even going to see it at the Pantages theater in Hollywood we were nowhere close to that. I don't think it was over $400 for the two of us combined. That's... A lot.

We went here after the show for dinner: https://thestinkingrose.com/bh/index.html

Eh. Truth is about 98% of the seafood you buy *anywhere* is flash frozen and remains frozen when it's delivered to the store/restaurant. Sometimes they defrost it and put it in the seafood case so you can buy it "fresh".

I prefer to buy most of my seafood still frozen and defrost it myself. That way I know the actual conditions it is stored (how long, etc) during the defrost process and prior to cooking.

I'm sure there's great seafood in AZ. Probably just as good as that 98% of seafood I can get in CA that was delivered to the store/restaurant frozen.
