I told my children I didnt care if they attended college or not

They just needed to pick a profession that folks cant do without

My son chose to follow my footsteps into accounting and is a CPA

My daughter went over to the dark side and is a lawyer

But I would have been happy if one was a plumber and the other was an electrician

My youngest is an electrician. In about 16 months the kid is gonna make bank. His wife is an ER nurse with an MSN. She already makes bank. They are sitting pretty.

My dad was an electrician and made a very good living

I could have gone in that direction but decided I wanted to be inside and warm or cool depending on the season

I also liked math so accounting was my thing

Went shrimping and crabbing today. Accidentally caught a stingray. Also a bunch of shrimp and crabs.

A veterinarian in China has become the first person in the country to contract and die of the extremely rare Monkey B virus, Chinese officials said last weekend, according to reports. 

The veterinarian, 53, suffered severe nausea and a fever two months after dissecting two monkeys at a breeding research institute in Beijing and died on May 27, according to the Washington Post. 

The Monkey B virus, also known as the Herpes B virus, usually comes from contact with a macaque monkey and can cause severe brain damage or death, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
