Finally making some golf equipment changes...

A buddy lent me his old Ping G25 driver to test out, since I'm still hitting a 20 year old small-headed driver with a steel shaft. I'm hitting this SO much better and he offered it to me for $100, so I snapped that right up.

I have an iron fitting scheduled for Thursday to refresh that part of the bag. Thinking I'm going to switch to single-length irons from Wishon.

Next stop: scratch! :57:

That's right up there with FL banning the teaching of something that isn't taught.

So you are saying critical race theory is not being taught anywhere?

No.  He is saying his usual radical bull.  Fake.

but thankfully it is being vehemently opposed now in a rapidly growing number of places. Common sense is making a comeback over racism and stupidity.

From what I can discern, CRT isn't a single discrete thing, it's a range of teaching with widely varying syllabi.

It's a bit like banning "assault rifles", you have to define the term, because it isn't a clearly define thing otherwise.  And in defining it, you make it still vague, someone makes the same rifle without a "pistol grip" and they are off.

We had to endure day long "diversity training" things at work that look like CRT, but we were adults, and paid little or not attention.  Even had we bought in, it had naught to do with the job anyway.

I like the PING drivers, haven't had one but tested them.  I'm a Callaway guy.  I usually sell my old drivers for $100 to friends.  I buy used drivers for $200.
the driver will help a ton, but good luck getting to scratch
new fitted irons will also really help

I'm not ready to try single length.

btw, hit the ball well yesterday, won the golf part of the competition (shot 29-31) and had to be in the running for the drinking category

I got new golf clubs maybe ten years ago, and the 4 and 5 woods I hit a lot better than the old 3 iron.  I'm not nearly good enough for anything to make a difference, and have not played in eons.  Oddly enough, I won a closest to the pin award of some sort at baseball camp on the electronic golf game.

I chose to ignore that in hopes he would get tired and just go back to pestering someone else

I can hit high irons pretty well, usually, it is anything lower than a 7 that I miss hit.  often.

I tense up on the tee usually and have a massive slice.  Unless the hole is dogleg left.
