A little Whipple twin screw on that thing and... whoa...
Idk what that means, but it probably deserves a language warning....

Guy I know, a retired navy chief, has an '11 I think it is.. it may be a '10 like that one.. LS6 as that one you posted has.  He slapped the Whipple on it as he intended to track it... his peers at the track had told him "it was what was meant for that car" in terms of performance and not only rwhp... the transmission, gear ratio... everything is complimented by it.

I think he said he's around 630hp and 450tq, but I may be wrong.  He's all smiles about that thing.  Says "it's a car I can grow into" as opposed to reducing everything to lack of mistakes lapping (road racing... BSR in Winchester Va/WV).  The car has more than he's willing to push it to.  That's a first for him, and I was surprised to hear him say it.

Turbocharging, I think.  A lot more power.

https://store.custombuiltmotors.com/power-adders/whipple-ls1-ls2-ls6-48-53-60-23l-supercharger-tuner-kit-non-emissions.html

incredibly easy to install- literally can be done in a day.  every single thing comes with it and the only 'hairy' part about the install (and i'm not certain it's required on this kit) is tapping the snout of the crank, and even that can be done at home with a drill and a huge set of jewels.

the chief i mentioned went with another camshaft too which brought his powerband into the range for the track- and even that is fairly simple on the LS6 and can be done without lifting heads.

when it's done it looks stock to someone who wouldn't know.

that was as spectacular a finish as I can recall of recent years!  Of the four leaders, it could have been any of them in the last 100', and either of two in the last 20'.

that trainer has 7 wins, and 4 of them came with a horse that cost $25k or less.  i'm guessing he knows what he's doing, huh?

I personally would not add more power to that Vette, it's just me I suppose.  For one thing, it already struggles to get its power to the ground from start.  You can end up with an undrivable beast, instead of something fun to drive, and that makes the right noises.  A turbo tends to mask exhaust notes to some degree unless you get into the exhaust as well.

In any event, I'm leaning away from it, we just don't drive much as it is, I'm not sure it makes sense given where we live to get a second car.

Convergence...

The kids 21st was Friday.  We're going out and coughing up for dinner for her and her friends tonight.  Of course they pick the most expensive place on the island.

Full stop.

It's quickly turned temperature here and all these gals are anxious to slip into two piece suits.

Full stop.

Most the kids friends are also in the 20-22yo range, and have converged here at the house for pool time and drinks.  Yes, drinks, at 1100a on a Sunday morning.

Full stop.

I have graduated to dirty old man status, as laughingly told by my wife, as I mentioned these girls as I recall them are fully developed now and are on full display.

Crap... maybe she's right?

It is impossible not to "look" at young females "dressed" alluringly.  That's probably a good thing.

I have managed to walk a couple miles a day now, with frequent stops.  When your ticker is not ticking properly, it really really slows you down.  I feel like an old man.

I'm ready to get this fixed, doctor's appt May 11, for review.

The latest on Bidens huge tax hike he is purposing

He wants to dramatically increase corporate taxes so to protect the US from companies leaving he is pushing the world to also increase corporate taxes

good luck with that

It is a partial roll back, we survived with a nominal corporate tax rate of 35% not long ago.  They may compromise at 25% when it's said and done.  Corporate tax revenues are only about a tenth of all Federal tax revenues, so it doesn't raise much money relatively, and it's an expense corporations pass on to their customers.

It likely is less important than changes, if any, in how companies deduct expenses for various and sundry.
