On Indiana, it's been my experience that a nonhelmet team will have some success in a year and then not at all the next despite expectations. Maybe they happen to win 5 close games against mediocre opponents one year and lost 4 of 5 the next, or something, and they upset someone one year and get blown out the next.
I thought Mizzou for example would be half decent this year, they are not. (They play Vandy this week for a dubious prize.)
Colorado will go 9-3 one year, perhaps, and the 3-9 the next. I know some of that can be injuries, these teams tend to lack depth.
Kentucky might be an exception, they have had pretty decent teams for a few years now, I'd try and hire their coach were I LSU et al.
