Are you sure that it wasn't the one where Caddy shack 2 was filmed?

can guarantee you that you will not eat at a better Italian restaurant in the US. By far the best around in 'Merica.
Been there. It was fantastic, but this place is better:

About – Trattoria Stefano

I'll have to try it- but I'm highly suspicious that it's better. This looks more Italian-American, than well actual Italian. It looks very good, very comparable to a high-end Italian-American place like Cafe Martorano's in Ft. Lauderdale. Which- don't get me wrong- I love spots like those- but they aren't real Italian. They are Italian-American. Whereas Pane & Vino is straight up Italian as it gets- as authentic as it gets- it's just like the food in Italy. Italian-American food is very different than Italian food- and when you go to Italy- you aren't getting anything like that- you're getting better honestly. The food in Italy is just better. By a lot.

Some American dude in the middle of a small-town that I've never even heard of in Wisconsin- or an entire crew straight off the boat from Bologna, Tuscany, & Sicily where pastaiolo's make every pasta & ravioli they serve by hand every single day. Hmmmm.

Stefano is a Tuscan. To work there, you must go through a heavy background check and agree to spend two months in Tuscany, learning from Stefano's family's restaurant, and other restaurants. Everything is made fresh, and by hand. The kitchen is somewhat open - you can see what's going on if you want to, and I did.

It's as authentic as it gets.
