Why is OSU above TTUN again? The bucks have gotten spanked around 2 years straight, and replaced their Heisman finalist QG with hot garbage.

If a ranking doesn't do a better job predicting than others, it's useless indeed.  I view them all as useless, including the spring mags.

Maybe they are worth minor discussion if they rank X highly we didn't expect.

We all recall when Pickens got into Oklahoma State football in a Big Way ($$$) and how they made a bit of a splash for a while.  They are still decent.  But Deep Pockets of that ilk NOW could really alter a landscape, if such a donor is interested.  Take, say South Carolina.  Give them a big fan who is a billionaire and runs multiple car dealerships, whatever.  He NILs recruits for ads mostly because it fills the roster with 4 and 5 stars, not that it aids sales.

This is unlikely at Purdue or NW, but it COULD happen at quite a few places.

IU fans have been clamoring for Mark Cuban to be their guy for a while.

May be an image of text that says 'How to trap me: 23r1 COLLEGE FOOTBALL TROLL COLLEGE FOOTBALL'
