Sure, except I am not really sure how to question AI.  Maybe someone else can do it.  I do have something that showed up on my phone, but I don't use it.  I played with it very briefly a month or so back, it didn't strike me as useful.

I don't think I personally use AI directly at all.  I'm sure it has some influence over my life.

Autocorrect, spam filters, fraud detection, predictive text, face ID, call screening, navigational apps, video/website suggestions, phone map routes.......probably a lot more.

He's pretty clearly talking about using it "directly"-- as in, using prompts within a specific AI environment to create an AI-generated product of one kind or another.  You know, like the thing you're doing directly, specifically, with your game.

So he's correct when he says both that he's not using it "directly" and also that he's sure it has some influence on his life, because it does, for all of the reasons and uses you listed, and many more.

This seems pretty noncontentious to me.

I don't use CRISPR either.  Were I still working, maybe I'd be using AI, I'm not really sure how.

As I've noted here, I had a sinecure for my last years at work, I didn't do much of anything except pass on the TPS Report and attend the occasional meeting.  I had three people in India doing "research" for me, I'd mostly send them make work, generating reports even I wouldn't read.  Maybe AI could have done that.  I used simple search techniques to do my own queries if I had any, mostly patent related.  It's actually pretty easy to do patent searches in the public domain.  You have an idea and want to know if someone else patented it?  Pretty easy to do a simple search.
