It's really getting down to crunch time.  Unless an agreement is reached, after August 31 no more BTN or FS1 on Comcast.

Very little makes me glad I have Mediacom, but this does.
I think Mediacom has had these issues in the distant past with BTN, and local TV, too. But Mediacom's Iowa imprint is so large to diss the Hawkeyes would spell mass exodus and disaster.

BTN is still on Dish. Glad I switched from DirectTV a few years back.

I've never had issues with DirectTV outside of storms.... and it's more expensive.  But so far, knock on wood, no big issues.

I'm working on a deal right now with Mediacom, in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.

good for Comcast

no sense losing customers that don't want to pay extra for a channel they aren't interested in

It's not about cord cutters, it's about millions of folks that don't watch college sports paying extra

F comcast. they are literally the worst.

They'll make a deal right before the season starts I'd bet.

The problem is, it's the sports fans who are the non-cord cutters.  Everyone I know who doesn't watch sports has already ditched cable.  So they'd be wise to appease the sports viewers.
