Indeed.  One of the ways a venue makes money, is by selling concessions.

People have the choice, not to purchase any concessions at all.  They're not mandatory you know.

Byob was allowed at County Stadium for nearly the entire Braves stay in Milwaukee.  IMS still allows it for the races in Indy.

I'll say the Marlins Man is worse.

Where Marlins Man is 100% douche canoe, Vandy Whistler at least radiates the full character arc of when a Grateful Dead roady takes up a new platform by which to project his obnoxiousness - college baseball.

Yeah, Marlins man is just a rich dude who is making it about himself.  At least Vandy dude has a horse in the race.  Purdue basketball had a player mom who would constantly scream like a decade ago.  It was brutal

In other news, Bednar really put on a clinic against Texas last night.  That guy was unbelievable.  Playing out of the loser's bracket is a really tough hill to climb, but there's nothing to help it now.

He wears a bright orange Marlins jersey and just tries to get on tv.  He'll be courtside at an NBA playoff game in NYC one night, then sitting right behind the plate at the FOX baseball game the next night in Houston

If all he's doing is being visible, and not making noise, then I'll have to disagree.  The whistling of the Vandy Whistler is so obnoxiously over the top, it renders any game involving their team completely unwatchable.

Today's game between NCSU and Vanderbilt has been postponed indefinitely as a result of multiple players on NCSU's team undergoing COVID protocols.

This could end up really messy.

OK looks like it will be played.  1 NCSU player already sent home, several more in COVID protocols.

Sounds like the Wolfpack are playing with a roster of 13, including only 4 pitchers.
