Anyhoo, Horns have a weekend series @Cal State Fullerton coming up.  Here's hoping for some improvement, especially in the hitting and baserunning which has been pretty dismal so far this season.

2) I love listening to LSU baseball games on the radio, for whatever reason.  Reminds me of my childhood.
Same with me, although I didn't necessarily grow up listening to radio.  I just like playing the game out in my head.
.
The best entertainment cost I pay for is the MLB radio app for $3.00/month.  It even includes all of the spring training games.

Agreed.  I also pay for Extra Innings, but nothing is better than a beer or 6 on the deck, listening to MLB radio.  Even if the Tigers aren't playing, I'll find a game

I used Hulu a few years ago for streaming service.  Probably before the Disney bundle.  Wasn't bad, but not as good as YTTV either, both in channel selection and UI.  Combine that with the fact I'm probably never going to be interested in Disney+, and Hulu doesn't have much attraction for me.  Would probably be a different story if ESPN+ actually got you ESPN games.  There's hardly ever been anything I wanted to watch that I couldn't get with ESPN3.

so to utee's point....sounds like yes, you'd pay extra for ESPN+, but I can't say that I've ever missed it, not having it.  I've missed some baseball games here and there, but that doesn't affect me much because 1) I often cut off tv outside of football season anyway, 2) I love listening to LSU baseball games on the radio, for whatever reason.  Reminds me of my childhood.
Yeah, the Hulu Live TV interface/UI is pretty terrible. It's my only real complaint about the service though (other than the fact that it's risen in price about $30/mo since I first subscribed).

ESPN+ picked up live coverage of PGA Tour events during the windows of tournaments not broadcast on Golf Channel or the networks. Other than that, I use some of the shows they have on demand as background when WFH. During football season, they have a daily fantasy football show, and then there's a moderately funny show called "debatable" that they have on MWF.

If I had to pay for it separately, I doubt any of that would push me over the edge. But having it as part of the Hulu bundle, I actually do make use of it.

At any rate, the bayou cats pitched for 8 K's, a decent showing, but the Longhorns doubled that, issuing an outstanding 16 (!!!) K's.  Pretty good stuff for mid-week pitchers.

LSU's bats are textbook boom-or-bust so far.  Iowa and Texas virtually neutered our hitters, while in the other 6 games they shot fireworks.  Hopefully they settle in somewhere on the spectrum, because I hate these teams with wild swings (so to speak) in production.
Iowa put up its best starter against LSU, a 100 mph fireballer, and football WR Brody Brecht, but he only went 3 1/3 innings and gave up 2 runs to LSU. Iowa has some more pitchers in the wheelhouse. Iowa is 8-1 now, but unranked, after beating top ranked LSU.

Sunday's baseball game between Nebraska and Illinois State has been canceled due to cold temperatures.

Ticket holders for this game can exchange their tickets for general admission seating to one of the remaining regular-season home baseball games. Click here for more information on how to exchange tickets for another event.

Nebraska continues its homestand next week, hosting Omaha on Tuesday, March 14 at Hawks Field. First pitch between the Huskers and Mavericks is set for 6:05 p.m.
