#2 Michigan (2-0) vs. Bowling Green (1-1) Game Week
« on: September 11, 2023, 05:45:10 PM »
OC/OL Coach Sherrone Moore will be the interim head coach for the game, the final game of Jeem's self-imposed 3-game suspension, and the final game the creampuff OOC tour before the real-life B1G football season is kicked off.

Michigan is favored by 40 points. I don't think they cover there. They'll do what they did last two games, get JJ some work and continue to build timing and chemistry with his WRs, then pull him in the 3rd QTR and unload the bench. Think this is the game the OL starts to gel and run game starts to click and they pop a few big runs.

Was worried about the run game a little bit, until I saw these two twitters....BC & DE vs the first 2 OOC creampuffs last year and a little nugget from a Michigan defensive players parent...

I'd predict a Wolverine blowout, but Toledo got 'em once, so you never know.

Is there a reason Edwards wasn't practicing?  Injury?  Load management?

To be honest, I haven't watched much of either of Michigan's games, but it looks like they haven't been using him correctly.  This is his third year, and they have shown in the past that they know how to use him, so it almost seems like a conscious effort to give NFL teams some film on him between the tackles.  But he hasn't looked comfortable with the way he's been given touches this fall.

Michigan OC Moore says Michigan has their starting OL:

LT, K. Barnhart
RG, T. Keegan
C, D. Nuget
RT, Z. Zinter
RT, M. Hinton

They are juniors as far as eligibility.

Somewhat surprised that tackles Jones and Henderson barely saw the field.   RT Hinton hasn't looked that great to date.

Nugent & Hinton are portal transfers, this is why I told Mdot that Booger has masterfully worked that to UMs advantage. Be nice if DAY took off the blinders to this

Honestly don’t know think Michigan will even score that much. Only way they do is if they get some defensive td’s or special teams td’s or they take some deep shots with the long ball- which they haven’t done.

JJ will be pulled midway by the 3rd QTR like he has the first two games. Then they’ll just unload the bench and the backups won’t score shit just like the first two games imo.

JJ will put up points on nearly every drive he’s in the game, they’ll probably have 30-35 points, then they’ll pull him and shut it down.

Kick time doesn't correlate to any quality of game anymore.

I watch from home, but if you are a season ticket holder, it must suck.  You at least used to know if you were playing a cupcake, you were.playing at noon, and not missing any other good games.

Granted I think 3:30 is the best kick time.  Start in daylight and when the sun is setting, the game.is tense

Michigan’s defense looked good again with 2 or 3 DB starters out.  Michigan’s running game was better.  Michigan’s QB McCarthy made some piss poor decisions and passes.  Kind of glad all the JJ Heisman talk is over.

what a shit show. thank god the pre-season is over and conference play starts next week.

JJ was god awful. No sugar coating it. It was some John O'Korn level bullshit. Just throwing shit up for grabs like a moron and forcing balls into double coverage unnecessarily, under-throwing and overthrowing all of his passes. He only threw 13 passes, and about 7 of them were downright awful throws. One of them was disastrously bad, a true wtf you thinking wtf was that bad. It was by far the worst he's ever played. That performance was downright baffling. If he doesn't throw that one in the trash, take his head out of his ass, stop feeling himself a little too much and humble himself and be more disciplined- Michigan might be in some trouble. That was truly fcking embarrassing. He should actually be ashamed of how stupid, reckless, clumsy and downright retarded he played.

RT Myles Hinton finally got benched, he had been playing like trash for two and a half games before the coaches realized yeah he ain't it. OL got drastically better once they benched Hinton and moved Barnhart to RT and put LaDarius Henderson at LT. That has to be the OL going forward. Hinton looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.

RB's finally got going. DL did what they should vs an overmatched opponent. Can't complain about too much aside from Hinton sucking ass....AGAIN and getting benched and JJ playing like absolute dirty unwashed asshole. Not much to glean except for JJ's god awful shitshow embarrassing performance. That game is 49-3 if JJ would've taken his head out of his ass and not turned it over what seemed like 500 freaking times. Thank god I don't have to watch any more bullshit games and conference play is starting up. Rutgers actually looks shockingly decent. My hope is JJ takes his head out of his fcking ass and redeems himself by playing a clean, flawless game vs a Rutgers team that is probably better than anybody thought they'd be at the start of the season.

I don't know who the hell was talking about Heisman for him. Cause I didn't see it. I saw him shooting up NFL draft mocks into 1st rd. Didn't see him being talked about as a Heisman candidate. Bc he clearly was not one. He was EXCELLENT the first 2 games vs creampuffs in terms of efficiency, but his overall numbers weren't Heisman caliber. He didn't throw for 400-500 and 4-5 TDs per game. Not even close. No Michigan QB under Jeem will ever win a Heisman. He flat out just does not throw the football enough for a QB to win it.

JJ needs another year in college. He should 10000% come back for 2024. He's still too backyard reckless and stupid- he's got to fix that shit or he won't ever do jackshit in the NFL.

MDot21, your 180 degree turn on JJ is quite humorous.  JJ is better than what we saw last night and will clean it up sooner than later because Rutgers is coming to Ann Arbor next Saturday.
