I don't understand the lovefest for Michigan in these rankings. 

  • Lost to Oklahoma by 11
  • Beat Nebraska by 3
  • Beat Wisconsin by 14
  • Lost to USC by 18
  • Beat Washington by 17 at home
  • Beat MSU by 11

USC might actually be better, and I don't know why I would say this. Perhaps I am on less stable ground, than FOX, and all their resources that go into their rankings.

Yes, USC seems better to me,  but I ain't going to die on this hill either.  Part of me knows USC could easily go Nebraska this Saturday and crap the bed.

  • OHIO STATE (1) - bye week
  • INDIANA (2) - put Cinderella down at about 9:30
  • OREGON (3) - sleepy effort, got the win
  • USC (5) - bye week
  • MICHIGAN (6) - I think I'd just pick the home team in #4-#8, they all seem about the same
  • WASHINGTON (7) - see above
  • IOWA (8) - see above
  • ILLINOIS (4) - see above
  • MINNESOTA (9) - tempted to drop them, but not sure how I can drop them behind Nebraska one week after they handled them
  • NEBRASKA (10) - much needed W
  • NORTHWESTERN (11) - considering the November schedule, really needed that one for a bowl
  • UCLA (12) - I guess they ARE beatable
  • MARYLAND (13) - bye week
  • PENN STATE (14) - bye week
  • RUTGERS (15) - what a way to steal a win
  • MICHIGAN STATE (16) - fight still there, coaching and talent is not
  • PURDUE (17) - what a way to steal a loss
  • WISCONSIN (18) - see MSU
