They're sandbagging just wanted to avoid injuries. Happy Valley shouldtell us alot more
this....Blake Corum only got 15 carries- of which like almost half were near the red area- and Donovan Edwards had 7 carries. They didn't really try to feature either of them.

the most carries Corum has had all year was 21 vs Rutgers. Next is 16 vs the Cornies and after that was 15 vs Purdue. Edwards most carries in a game was 14 vs the Cornies and after that was 12 vs ECU in week 1. He hasn't had a double digit carry game all season except for those two. RB stats are largely volume based- more carries you get more you'll get into a "flow" and more chances you have of breaking a home run. Edwards has been close a few times just got tripped up on shoestring tackles before he could explode into the 2nd level and take off.

Yes- once you get to #4, you could just throw the names in a hat.
exactly how I feel. 1-3 is the only rankings I'm certain of. OSU or Michigan #1 or 2, Penn State 3, everyone else....who the F knows.

agree
but the final few weeks could clearly give you a clear 1-3

There must be some way to figure it out.  What about Medina's 6 common opponents comparison rankings thing that he used to do?

Of course I think the real problem is Iowa has broken the Power Rankings at least for #4 and below.  Victories that you would normally write off as a fluke because the defense or special teams made a game-changing play are how Iowa consistently wins games.  So for Iowa those wins are not flukes.  But that makes stats you would normally use for power rankings like offensive yards or point differential become meaningless.

agreed, so you could put Iowa at #4

the obvious gap between Iowa and PSU was illustrated by their head to head
meaning if Iowa doesn't get the game changing play like vs the Gophers, they're no better
yes, most of the time, they do (blocked punt in Wrigley) but.........
