I thought #30 would produce a stronger list

Greg Pruitt, HB, 1970-72?

Steve Worster, FB?

Greg Bellisari

J.J. Arrington obviously had a great season, but I'd select Pruitt #2 after Rozier

a couple notes:

In 1971 he averaged 9.0 yards per carry on 196 attempts with 18 TDs

He came in second in Heisman Trophy voting in 1972, and third in 1971.

In 1999, he was inducted to the College Football Hall of Fame.

The Greg Pruitt rule established tear-away jerseys as illegal. Pruitt purposely wore flimsy jerseys that ripped apart in the hands of would-be tacklers.

In 1979, Pruitt won ABC's Superstars, an all-around sports competition that pits elite athletes from different sports against one another in a series of athletic events resembling a decathlon.

I'd take Earl over Greg

no one will ever know how many additional yards Earl might have gained with a tear away jersey
