As much as I wanted to vote for Ameche, Mr. Inside is one of the icons of college football history. He was a three-time consensus all-American on three straight MNC-winning (and undefeated) teams.

Outside of Wisconsin, a CFB fan may not know Ameche, but any student of the game knows Mr. Inside.

I'm sure Doc will win this but I voted for Zach Thomas.  He was such a stud on the field.

I was all set to vote for Ameche, he is an all-timer, but then I saw Blanchard, and was like, well...shit...
