Well it wasnt pretty, but MSU cant afford a loss like that and make a bowl, so an ugly win, is a win.

The back seven is actually worse than I feared though

Eh, I don't think so.

For one thing, I usually think of a "trap game" as one immediately before or sometimes immediately after a big game. For Ohio State the OhioU game is after Grambling and before a week off. 

Secondly, I think it is great that the Bobcats beat the Mountaineers because now there is no excuse to sleepwalk on them.

I totally missed that result until I saw that here.  A strong minority of our neighbors are WVU fans
