8. Michigan State (3-4, 1-3)

Previous: 8. LW: Bye.

9. Minnesota (4-3, 1-3)

Previous: 7. LW: L 45-17 vs. Penn State.

10. Nebraska (3-4, 2-2)

Previous: 11. LW: Bye.

A big-time opportunity is coming to Lincoln this weekend. Nebraska hasn’t beaten a top-25 foe since the 2016 season, and No. 17 Illinois is no easy team to get past. Given that the Illini lead the Big Ten West, a Husker win would produce a three-way tie between Illinois, Nebraska and Purdue for the division lead.

11. Iowa (3-4, 1-3)

Previous: 9. LW: L 54-10 vs. Ohio State.

There’s nothing more telling about Iowa’s season than the fact that of the 10 points it scored against Ohio State, seven came from a fumble return the Iowa defense turned into a touchdown. The Hawkeyes’ continued offensive struggles means Iowa is squandering a great defensive season.

12. Rutgers (4-3, 1-3)

Previous: 13. LW: W 24-17 vs. Indiana.

13. Indiana (3-5, 1-4)

Previous: 12. LW: L 24-17 vs. Rutgers.

14. Northwestern (1-6, 1-3)

Previous: 14. LW: L 31-24 vs. Maryland.
