There are two pretty big differences:
  • Bwar is taking out his team's BEST performance while you are trying to take out your team's worst.
  • PU/IA was week-1, UNL/IL was not long ago.

hey, I'm not telling Bwar what to ask for........
"Courage; Generosity; Fairness; Honor; In these are the true awards of manly sport."

Results posted, votes through @fezzador , 15 voters.

With only one week to go before the CG we still have very little agreement at the bottom.  The bottom six teams (MN, IL, PU, M, MSU, RU) are each only separated from the next one by about 0.5 so basically anything can happen.

Week 8 games by our rankings (as scheduled):

  • #1 tOSU vs #12 M
  • #2 IU vs ##11 PU
  • #3 NU vs #10 IL
  • #4 IA vs #5 UW
  • #6 UMD vs #14  RU
  • #7 PSU vs #13 MSU
  • #8 UNL vs #9 MN

Last Week in parentheses

  • OHIO STATE (1) - rest of the conference is so bad, I have no clue.  They could be national champs, they could get blown out in their CFP game, neither would surprise me
  • INDIANA (2) - I feel bad that they wasted a peak year on this season
  • IOWA (3) - I was hoping the Big Ten would stick to their guns, so we'd get an actual best matchup of OSU-Iowa in a crossover game
  • NORTHWESTERN (5) - I thought their win over UW was a fluke...I guess not
  • WISCONSIN (4) - the offense is a complete and total mess, what a waste of a defense
  • MARYLAND (6) - they looked horrible, then great, then basically shut it down, so who knows
  • NEBRASKA (14) - looking back at their results now, the Illinois result feels like an outlier, and everything else looks actually solid
  • PENN STATE (8) - defense finally putting it together
  • MINNESOTA (10) - in 2020, cancelling 2 games, coming off a ref gifted win, I guess moves you up a slot?
  • MICHIGAN STATE (7) - beat UM, has a good win
  • MICHIGAN (9) - did not beat MSU, has no good wins
  • PURDUE (11) - bloom coming off the Jeff Brohm rose?
  • ILLINOIS (12) - the offense has actually looked decent, interested to see them against that Northwestern defense
  • RUTGERS (13) - figured the offense that beat Purdue was going to be a disaster against a defense with a pulse

Has the apparent gap between #1 and everyone else been this large in recent memory?
