If you guys do meet up in Athens, we should make a reunion out of it. I could bring some Madison cops to counter SEC speed even.

BTW, you fellas realize that was the Wisconsin-Iowa game 11 years ago. Time flies, lads--even faster than El Tigre Rex. Still probably the best football weekend I've ever had. Course, meeting with the athletic director didn't hurt.

I'll admit I had UW/Iowa on my 2nd TV, with sound on TV 1 for the Stanford/UO game, but that was the best I've ever seen Hornibrook look at QB.

I just wish he would set his feet.

And throw fewer interceptions.

And play more consistently...well.

But he's got another year, so maybe he'll get there.

UW has had exactly one great QB since I've been a UW fan, and he was only around for one season. All the other QB's had a wart or seven.



I like Hornibrook, but more importantly, his teammates would take a bullet for him, and he would set himself on fire to win a football game. Total gamer. Is he perfect? Hell no, but he's what UW has and he's definitely not bad.
