Some predictions in this thread- before we have even seen anyone play…

You know we have to go through our normal, annual routine.   You know- where we completely overreact to to the first game, and forget that teams actually get better ( and sometimes worse from injuries).

Don’t spoil it!😂

The B1G east looks to be the strongest division of any conference.  Three top ten rankings will do that.  I'd put the SEC W second, some way behind.

Well, I did forget about the ACC East, or Legends, or Coastal, whatever they are.

Hey, I'm over reacting early this year.

I can predict that my predictions will almost certainly be wrong.  If perchance, one of them is right, it was pure random chance, not any insight on my part, and any future predictions will be no more than randomly right, if they are about something which has numerous plausible outcomes.

If I predict Indiana won't win the B1G, that will be right, but it has no pausible alternative outcome.

Now I've done it.

West winner has basically been murdered in the B1G CCG by the East winner every year with the exception of maybe once or twice since the divisions changed and went East/West.

I don't know man, not really seeing it in the West this year.

The West winner from last year Purdue is kinda in shambles with all the personnel losses and the coaching staff peace-ing out- if Brohm was still there I'd believe in them more- think he's one of the best coaches in the sport. He gone. Illinois lost a ton after having the best season they've had in the last 25 years and the best season they will probably ever have in the next 25 years- and they still didn't win the West last year. Northwestern is like dead. Stick a fork in them. Iowa is going through a bit of a scandal and well Brian Ferentz is still the OC which means that offense is still going to suck.

West fortunes all hinge on turnaround year one jobs in Luke Fickell at Wisconsin and Matt Rhule at Nebraska. I think Wisconsin has the potential to be really good, but that's not a given, especially in year 1. Nebraska is probably going to suck for a minute or two before Rhule actually gets that thing turned around imo.
Fair enough.  I understand your complete and utter garbage comment a little better now.  The West is basicly in disarray right now where nobody is in a position to challenge the big boys in the East for the Big Ten championship., which is a fair assesment, for now.
