Knocked out 10.2 miles at 9:17 pace. I think I started a little too hot, I felt really good, and I’m just ran low on juice on the back end. I would love to see my mile split data, but Google is currently trying to screw me out of that, so eff them on that front.

What is a religious dinner?
So, I’m Jewish. The Jewish Sabbath runs from Friday evening to Saturday evening. Almost every denomination has a tradition in which the sabbath is welcomed in with a meal.

There are a series of steps, lighting, candles, sanctifying, and drinking wine, washing your hands, breaking a particular bread for the sabbath meal.

I am part of what kind of amounts to a meetup group of Jewish folks in their 20s and 30s. Every so often, the organizers, which are Jewish organization, Hold dinners a few times a month. It’s loud and boisterous. You may see friends. I chatted with a few people I know and a rabbi about world politics. Solid little night. (The groups hold the value of building community and probably fostering Jewish couples)

Looks like you'll be well out of the woods by gametime, assuming AccuWeather has it right.
Yup, that's what we're seeing too. However, getting in will be wet, and it takes an act of Congress to move in that stadium.

Kind of a mixture of things cooking today.

I have some Vienna Beef hot dogs we brought back from our last trip North, so that's lunch. Depression Dogs!!

Then I found stuff in the freezer.

I have a piece of flat iron steak, one chicken breast, 8 wings, and one piece of halibut that my friend caught in Canada.

A mixed bag for sure.

Never thought of it that way, but yeah.

That place is another example of something that could not be permitted to build in 2024.

Well, ya got me.

I assumed "religious dinner" was sarcasm and meant something about getting a little too deep into the wine and not feeling so good this AM :57:

Gun to my head I thought the VT kid caught it and the Miami kid swiped it and knocked it loose after he had completed the catch but I don’t feel super strongly about that.
Same. It was a bang bang 50-50 play and I feel like there just wasn’t enough indisputable evidence on the replay to be over turned. It was realllly close and I think in those situations you have to go with the ruling on the field every time.

Miami caught a break I think and they may just be a pretender after being pushed to the wire at home by a pretty lousy VaTech team.

Luckily for Miami they play in the ACC and with teams like Florida State and UNC…

Rutgers get its "S" back.

I think they are good. The Greek God at QB looks much better than he did under PJ Barnum too.
I do think they are a much improved team. I can’t stand Schiano but much like BERT - another fat disgusting slob I can’t stand- the man can coach.

Nebraska at Purdue is buried on Peacock.

To me, it is even more surprising that NBC decided to bury #15 Louisville at #16 Notre Dame on Peacock too. And NBC proper has no Noon or 3:30 kicks today.

NBC has nothing today until the 7:30 #19 Illinois at #9 Penn State game, and nobody will watch it because all eyes will be on Georgia/Bama.

Ohio State is also buried on Peacock tonight.

What the hell are they thinking?

I mean, that sometimes it happens at these dinners, or people want to go to a bar afterwards. But I have a long day today, and needed to rest up after the week.

They are thinking they can coerce die hard fans of helmet teams with huge fan bases in ND, Nebraska, and Ohio State to subscribe to Peacock.
