Anybody watch Army vs Temple?

There's nothing worse than losing big to an option team....and all they're gonna keep doing is that same option that you can't handle already.

As they should (The characterization is in, totally correct, but it doesn’t make it a little funnier because with army, they’re probably just gonna run full back inside zone over and over and that is somehow even more disheartening if you can’t stop it)

I honestly didn’t think that was a catch at the end of the Miami game, but I very much wanted it to be.

Also, feeling groggy this morning after a nice religious dinner with some people last night. Need to wheel myself into a long run. Considered joining a local running Group that takes off shortly, but decided to ease to the start of my day.

Then settle into an afternoon of watching the early games, getting out of the Badger bar for that game and then ducking over to a friend‘s birthday event.

Greetings from a damp and overcast Ann Arbor. Flight over last night was the first time I'd been on a domestic wide body flight since college, and it handled a very choppy approach into DTW like a champion.

Tailgate should be rain free, but more showers will be rolling through here during the game.

I get amused at all the Talking Heads prognosticating about who is going to win some game that clearly is 50-50.  I know they have to do it, and nobody really looks later at how accurate they are, but such games usually hinge on some "freak play" that cannot be predicted.

I occasionally see some post where 2-3 guys pick games ATS, and I NEVER have seen one fellow beating the spread consistently by end of year.  They nearly always are 50-50ish, rarely will anyone be even 29-21 ATS.

It's fascinating how fascinating it all is.

There are SIX flying billboards circling the stadium. I've seen one or two, but never six.

We probably ended up w close to 2 inches and a lot of debris from the hurricane remnants.

Most HS games were moved to today.  Seems like a slow cook pork day.

Attractive slate today.

Rutgers get its "S" back.

I think they are good. The Greek God at QB looks much better than he did under PJ Barnum too.

Good for Rutgers.  I was pulling for them.  We had a concert last night, so I missed seeing most of the stuff.  The Braves are hanging in there by the skinny.

What is a religious dinner?

A seder would be one example of a "religious dinner".  It's not the season for that one I think.

Looks like you'll be well out of the woods by gametime, assuming AccuWeather has it right.
