Get used to it. With Frost, I have a feeling that Nebraska will be the "Michigan" of the B1G West, where they will always be the "best team" up until the season actually starts. They will both be pre-season ranked ahead of Penn St, Wisconsin and Michigan St; the teams that have actually proven on multiple occasions that they are capable of knocking off OSU and winning Big Ten Titles.
Reminds me of Tennessee under Peyton Manning from 95-97.....always getting the preseason love, only to poop the bed each year against Florida.

Except that Vandy is a founding member of the conference and has a long, glorious history of being the worst SEC football program.  :93:
At least Chicago knew when it was time to bail. They are pretty smart.

Speaking of, Mizzou has actually been a respectable program and is actually pretty good this year. What could have been...

You know, Rutgers is that 9th conference game for nine members of the Big Ten.  BIG WHOOP.
So I guess we have a built in Citadel like Bama plays yearly before Auburn - OK I'm good with that

You have have to give him at least 3 years,at least to get back to even.Tom Osborne was there a long time before he started racking up Natty's.Frost is well connected in FLA,lot of little brothers of kids he coached could be coming Lincolns way.And 2 of the big 3 Football programs in state right now are swirling the drain in a talent rich environment. There are 2 decades of debris to clear up.Hell Minnesota is undefeated

Other than their current probationary status, well, no.

No doubt. My point was that they will continue be the pollster/media darlings of the offseason in the mean time, not that he couldn't eventually get 'em over the hump.

The question thus becomes: do Huskers fans have the stomach for a top-to-bottom rebuild? Because that's what Frost has on his hands.

After the struggles against the 1-AA team in the opener and in the non-con, it sure was fun to see this team finally put it all together.

The Gophers have a brutal stretch drive: PSU, at Iowa, at Northwestern, and Wisconsin.

Wisconsin is the real deal and should be considered the top of the conference.  OSU will give them a good test but its clear so far without injuries Wisconsin will win that game on the 26th

You are much more confident than I am on that one, Ben. If it was in Madison I'd feel a lot better about it.

being neutral and actually if you think about it if I leaned any ways it would be against the Badgers but When you watch it you can see it.

it will be  a great game, and I may eat crow in a couple of weeks but I think Wisconsin wins 6 or 7 out of ten with a coin flip to where the game is played
Sorry I know this is heavily Buckeye nation on here but at least even if OSU wins they will still win the East and have a 2nd shot at them

I guess that's why they play the games to prove to those of us who are less clear.Have no idea who wins that scrum
