Still got 3 tiebreakers, but here's some notes:

The list starts with a Pitt player and ends with a Pitt player.
Leaders by school:
7  Alabama
6  Ohio St
5  USC, Georgia, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Miami
4  Notre Dame
3  Pitt, North Carolina
2  Michigan, VA Tech, Texas, Tennessee, FSU, SMU, Wisconsin, Army, Illinois, Minnesota, UCLA
1  Louisville, Alcorn St, Indiana, Navy, Ole Miss, Oklahoma St, BC, Purdue, Iowa, Kansas St, Syracuse, Kansas, Arizona St, Penn, Baylor, Morgan St, Miss Valley St, Arizona, Kentucky, Utah St, Florida, Missouri, Penn St, Washington, Maryland, Michigan St

By position:
20  RB
16  LB
13  QB, DE
07  DT
05  FB, OT
04  WR
03  TE, CB, S
02  G
01  C, AP

*I counted the 2-way players as the position they're most notable for (Butkus, Bednarik at LB, Nagurski at FB, etc) and Hirsch is counted for Wisconsin only.

more LBs and as many DEs as QBs is impressive and a bit surprising

Way more eligible numbers - QBs only range from single digits to 22....DEs from 40s-90s.
