I was tempted,  just to provoke the Iowa haters, to pick Jay Hilgenberg (or was it Jim,  Joel or Jerry?) at Center,  but jeesh,  Remington has the fricken trophy, for best center in college football, named after him.
We are all equal but some are more equal than others.

I know Bo Schembechler got a lot of grief for never winning it all, but as a program, Pitt is the #1 "how did you never win a NC" in the country, by far.

Just leaving off the returner so you don't have to acknowledge the Irish? :-)

And another one of those programs that leads one to wonder: where'd they go?

To an off-campus stadium.

Kickers: Morten Andersen, Kevin Butler, Jeff Jaeger, David Tredwell, Jason Hanson.

I'd pick Butler out of those. I'm out of picks though.

Someone pick Rod Woodson out of Purdue please.

For WR I was thinking Michael Irvin or Tim Brown. I've already taken my homer pick, but Tim Brown did win the Heisman trophy (and I'm sure he got an ND bounce in the voting). That guy was good. And so was Irvin (as much as I didn't like either the college or the pro team he played for).

Anyway, I'd take one of those guys.

For the second safety spot, as much as I loathe USC, Mark Carrier would be a good choice, or Terry Hoage, but I didn't see the latter play). Woodson played CB in college, I think, and safety in the pros? I feel like a lot of those guys moved to safety after being corners in college...

He's worthy.
