So i think the 3 mentioned so far are Hershal Walker,  Barry Sansder and Bo Jackson.  I would like to add one more RB that should be included in the debate

Marcus Allen
Agree. Mike Rozier also comes to mind. I didn't see much of George Rogers.

I already made my pick but I would like to nominate Andre Tippet,  who played DE, and was a consensus all-American for Iowa.  Even though he is most famous for being an NFL hall of famer at LB.

I thought Tippet was most famous for offering to show his "Patriot Missile" to a female locker room reporter.

Doug Flutie?
I thought about him, but man, they didn't really play much of a schedule. They lost to just about every ranked team they played.

Ware only had that one great year, so he's out.

The 80's were definitely the decade of the RB's --- QB offerings are slim pickens.

Flutie or Testaverde, I guess ??  Sheesh.

No. No. No.

It's Chuck Long.
An option QB makes sense to me, for the 80s.  Everyone was still running the ball 80% of the time, outside of Miami, Provo, and Houston.
