Picked up some (very expensive) beef short ribs to make today. Or maybe tomorrow. Might order out tonight. Not sure.
I saw our Costco had Wagyu beef short ribs yesterday. The most beautifully marbled beef short ribs I've ever seen. Cut into individual ribs at full length (~12" long). It was getting strangely dusty there in the Costco ;-)

Surprisingly only $12.99/lb.

This was last night's dinner. The asparagus at Costco was wimpy so my wife sauteed some shredded Brussels sprouts to go with the ribeye.

Someone brought some steaks for frying on the flattop. Breakfast tailgating is nice once, but not every game.

Today's going to be low-key. We're gonna go look at coffee tables and run a few errands, maybe get In & Out for lunch. Then the goal is to take the dog to The Dog Pawrk (a brewery), as long as it's not ridiculously hot.

We're doing a Zoom call with our good friends in NC and IN this evening, so we're just going to do Thai shrimp lettuce wraps for dinner. It's an easy quick meal to throw together, especially since I'll cook the shrimp this morning and then just chill them in the fridge until dinnertime. Gotta be flexible because the NC couple have two kids under 3, so they're kinda picking the schedule for the call lol.

Going to avoid the depressing football game if I can.

I have to go to a wedding at 2.  At least it doesn't interfere with the Florida game.

good day to do some Rose bush clean up.   the IU tailgate is out, kids had a sleep over last night, and if you know anything about sleepovers,  There's never been a successful sleep over in the history of mankind.  (S+1 is a bust).

So many good games today. This is what my car must feel when bubbles are blown his way and he's too excited to pick which one to swat at.

Between my apartment and two different sports bars down the street I plan on catching stretches of the following games:

noon:
#12 OK State @ #25 Texas
Auburn @ #17 Arkansas
#20 Florida @ LSU (Org's job on the line?)

3:30PM:
#11 Kentucky @ #1 Georgia

4:30PM:
#13 Ole Miss @ Tennessee (high powered offense for first Neyland sellout in 4 years)

8:30PM:
UCLA @ Washington

10PM:
#18 Arizona State @ Utah (for control of the PAC 12)

Ugh. Friends tell us they want the zoom at 4 PM PT. No, that doesn't screw up any of our plans for the day at all :96:
