That’s just beating yourself. It’s frigid out and the ball is a rock and they’re running pitch plays

Gators up now, erasing 17 pt deficit.
And Dantonio de-pantsing himself in front of 75,000.
Maybe I should coach a major college program.  Can't pass?  Way behind?  Stop passing.  Lo and behold:  a lead!

This defense should just quit.  Their offense just continuously screws them over
this MSU team kinda reminds me of Michigan last year.
Defensive effort week in week out is heroic considering how awful the offense is. Feel bad for the players on defense who are playing their asses off.

No, we're just not that good.
Florida needs to run the ball 8 out of every 10 plays to have a chance at winning.

Just glad he listened to me.

BTW, while it is helping my team, I am appalled that MSU just doesn't run the read option with Rocky.  He's a hammer running it, and it would create a lot more problems for the Buckeyes (and obviously improve the run game).
My thought exactly. Everytime Lombardi reads to run, I think about how off-balance OSU would be if Shea were doing that in between plays to Higdon or a more functional pass game.

That wasn't wrong read, both the back and the keeper we're covered.  Stellar

I don't think returning to Lewerke made sense. I think you have to ride out Lombardi. Both are broken. But Lombardi at least has a winnable ceiling. Lewerke only has a less soul-crushing basement. That's no way to win.

Luckily for MSU the Buckeye center only knows the snap count on every other play

Lombardi lacks any touch, but at least he looks like there's a chance.  Lewerke isn't even close.  And early, when OSU was being honest against the run, Lewerke was missing a lot of open guys.  Lombardi was throwing into much tougher coverage, against a DL with it's ears pinned back.

This is like the "screw this" drive the defense had at the end of the UM game, when you can only be on the field, in your own territory, for so long.
