Indiana is up two games in the all time series?
Nebraska and Indiana will meet for the fifth time as Big Ten opponents and for the 24th time
overall. Indiana owns an 11-9-3 overall series edge, with the teams splitting four games since
Nebraska joined the Big Ten Conference.
• The 2024 game in Bloomington marked the first time Nebraska had faced a ranked Indiana team
since 1945.
• Nebraska won the first Big Ten meeting between the schools in 2016 in Bloomington, extending
its winning streak in the series to five games, the Huskers' longest streak in the series.
• Seventeen of the 24 games in the series have been played in Lincoln, with Indiana holding an 8-6-2
edge in the previous 16 games.

Cornsidering how many great seasons UNL has had never would expect that. Some programs just have the others number. Like Wofford at UT on the 40 Acres

I'm not rooting against Nebraska, per se, but ever since @medinabuckeye1 clued me in to IU potentially breaking tOSU's record for consecutive W's during the week they play tOSU, I've been rooting for IU to stay undefeated until then.  I want a game with history on the line.

we should have a contest to guess the total number of yellow flags we will see (who is officiating this game?)  Will we break the record of 16 penalties?  I don't know which 16 penalty game was the worst, but I would go with the Texas A & M game just because the penalty total was so outrageously skewed - the Huskers had 16 but A & M only had 2.

sounds like you've just started your very own "Resident Genius" contest

obviously, you should change the name to protect the guilty

the guilty Huskers that cause the flurry of flags

I think I'd have a better chance of that then coming anywhere close to total yardage question this week, lol.  I would just like to see even half of the penalties this week and that is still too many for us to overcome against Indiana (but I still pick us to win, ha ha)

Ugh, some bill Jennings era teams.  Bad losses through out that period.
