Kickoff is at 3:30 PM on BTN.  Michigan is currently favored by 14.5.  If there's a trap game on Michigan's schedule this is it, sandwiched between a win at Penn State and their annual butt kicking by the Buckeyes.

This does have "trap game" written all over it being sandwiched between a close, physical, tough win and a major rivalry game but I just don't think Maryland is good enough to take advantage.  Their two wins were close ones over Illinois and Indiana and their five losses were blowout or near-blowouts to tOSU, MSU, PSU, IA, and MN.  I think if Michigan falls victim to the "trap game" here the result will be a closer-than-expected win, not an outright loss.

I agree with this.

Maryland defense is pretty bad and the match-up with Hutchinson & Ojabo vs their OL is a huge advantage Michigan. Tua Jr is feast or famine- and he's as likely to turn it over as he is to make a big play.

Hutchinson brings it every single snap every single week. I don't think he lets them slip up- he'll have that team focused. He is that teams de facto leader and they all follow him. Love that kids energy.

CDC is at Michigan's campus- a nasty flu strain is ripping through Ann Arbor. I say keep the football players in a bubble for the next 2 weeks.

Maryland starting WR Marcus Fleming out for the season. Fleming had been starting because two WR's ahead of him on the depth chart- Maryland's #2 and #3 WR's - Dontay Demus and Jeshaun Jones- both had season ending injuries. Fleming seems to just have had a season ending injury himself.

3 of Maryland's top 4 WR's out for the year. #1 WR Rakim Jarrett is pretty dang good however- he's a guy that can make plays.

can't help but think- Michigan's defense would've been even soooo much better had Cam McGrone and Ambry Thomas came back in 2021. Would've been insane.

McGrone leaving made no sense- which is why he didn't get drafted til 5th round. He was too green and coming off an injury. He stays- he could play himself up. Dude was looking Bush-Lite for a minute there.

Ambry Thomas might've been able to play his way into the 1st. He only started 1 season, missed the entire 2020 campaign and still went 3rd rd just based off his raw talent and ability. He comes back- has another full season of him playing at a high level- he was always going to kill the combine- he'd have been a 1st rd pick imo.

As an elite edge rusher, you can either follow Mario Williams and J.J. Watt, or play for the Lions.  Aidan better not screw around and work himself up to #1.

Lol. I know he's from the state of Michigan and he plays for the University of Michigan- but if I'm Hutchinson- I pretty much tell the Lions up front- don't pick me because I'm not signing.

Aidan Hutchinson left off the finalists list for the 2021 Bronko Nagurski Trophy for some reason which is beyond my understanding.

Seriously, Bronko Nagurski Trophy voters? Seriously?
