I don't normally feel bad for Michigan,  but it is interesting that both TCU and Ohio State got a 2nd chance after their first loss late in the season,  while Michigan gets no 2nd chance after its first loss.  

Oh well, I guess it's all about when you lose that matters, the 2007 Patriots being the best example of how that works.
