#24 Nebraska vs. South Alabama Game Week
« on: August 27, 2019, 01:37:08 PM »
The Nebraska Cornhuskers open their 130th season on Saturday by hosting the South Alabama Jaguars at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff for the 2019 season opener is set for 11 a.m. and the matchup will be televised nationally on ESPN (Beth Mowins, Anthony Becht, Rocky Boiman)

Scott Frost will lead his second Husker team against a South Alabama squad that also features a second-year head coach in Steve Campbell. The Jaguars went 3-8 in Campbell's first season, including a season-ending victory over Coastal Carolina.

It's still hard for me to get into Nebraska-South Alabama as a Big Ten game, but a noon kick with Beth Mowens sure helps

3 TVs and find some other game audio.  I wish other non MLB TV apps would figure out how to sync radio to TV the way MLB has.

Their three wins last year were Texas St, Alabama St, and Coastal Carolina.

No way the Cornhuskers barf up a game against the Jags. (Although it would be sorta hilarious if they did.)

MLB blows every other league out of the water in terms of digital viewing/listening options.

Synching your TV and radio has never been easier.

You can pause the TV these days, and you can stream your radio through Tune In, which can also be paused. Tinker with it for ten seconds, and badda bing, badda boom. Synced up.

Best way to do it if your TV leads is to pause it on the first tackle, then unpause it when the radio catches up.

Until you decide to pause and or switch your station.   It is no doubt easier,  but MLB has this as an integrated choice,  idiot proof.

Yeah that's true. You do have to watch it live, and you can't really flip around during the commercials. Which is of course fine if it's "your team" which it probably is if you are searching out the radio feed.

Also, the delay might gain or lose a second or two coming out of a commercial break. So you have to tinker with it from time to time.

Well if you spend half of the Fall raking/blowing leaves and cleaning up acorns I just listen to the radio - which I like BTW.It's amazing how much more accomplished and dialed in radio guys are than TV slappies
