I think Cignetti likes being where he is. The expectations at Florida are not realistic (win the MNC every year).

He's got Mark Cuban money at IU. They'll have a statue of himself made if he keeps IU in the picture

NIL is weak at Florida compared to Miami and FSU. IU has more money than Florida.

Keeping Florida in the picture gets you fired from Florida.

I'd be a hard pass on that gig - especially as a 64 y/o man.

That Williams kid a Washington is fire plug.  Buckeyes will have their hands full out there on the coast next weekend.

I’m enjoying football season. Golfed Friday and this morning. Was in attendance for that beatdown of the Illini last night.

Exactly. You don't have to do much to be beloved at IU (or Purdue, or a bunch of other schools). You really just have to make football fun. 8-4 & 9-3 seasons with 6-6 being a "down year" is completely acceptable.

I am sure there's not an IU fan on the planet--folks here like @LetsGoPeay included--that think IU ever's going to win the whole thing.

But IU 2024 was a HELL of a lot more fun than Purdue 2024.

Suffered through 60 minutes on the bike this morning when I really didn't want to do it. But now that it's over, I'm glad I did.

Now firing up the smoker for 3 slabs of baby backs.

We've got Costco mac & cheese, cole slaw, and I made a purple cabbage slaw I really love on Friday and it's been "maturing" since then...
