Death of college football and all that--it is remarkable that ND is still relevant right now. In the old days--two years ago?--they would be playing for pride. Now they still have a shot at glory. So many classic mid-season football games would no longer matter that much in the current playoff structure. Too bad.
Uhh, what??

This reminds me of religion.  Hear me out, it's banal.

You're suggesting being 0-2 makes your games still meaningful if you're an ND (helmet) into the season because you still have a shot at the playoff.  This is akin to believing in a god for promise of reward (heaven) or threat of punishment (hell).

I'd argue those "classic mid-season football games" are classics in that they're important to those involved regardless of potential future payoff/success (playoff).  As in someone who lives an ethical life just because they should, not because a god tells them to.  The phrase "throw out the records" is prudent here.

I don't care if we're both 0-10, I will watch every second of Florida vs FSU, UGA, Tennessee, etc and want the Gators to beat the hell out of them.

Might get downgraded to OSU3
I'd say they are officially OSU3....getting blasted at home 19-3 by Tulsa. Yikes.

always worth reminding folks, Tulsa has the smallest enrollment of any FBS school.  2,647 undergrads,  3700 w/ graduate students

Tulsa is also 1-2 this year with losses to New Mexico State and Navy. Not like they played a bunch of P4 teams to start the season and got drilled. they've played nothing but cupcakes and are 1-2. they suck. looks like they are playing the biggest cupcake yet in OSU3.

Maybe Oregon's 69-3 blasting of OSU3 wasn't that impressive after all.
