Back when Tiller was there, guys were getting drafted. Not as many as Wisconsin, but they had guys.
Even years when we sucked, we'd usually get a guy drafted here and there.

I guess now, when you suck, anyone with a pulse transfers out.

MSU with one, the last pick of the 5th round.

Same thing, a one year rental.

I think there were 3 other players who started at MSU and transferred out

I think everybody we have is a one-year rental.  Including the coach.  He certainly was at Tennessee.

That's where Auburn is at this point. 33-40 in the last six seasons since 2020, yet still developing an output of three to five players drafted each year. This year pass rusher Keldric Faulk is projected for the late-first round.

Appreciate the responses on Carnell Tate.

Seems drafting #9 is a bit more of a sure thing to get a star than drafting 31st or 32nd, as the Cheeeefs have been relegated to such wild recent success.

Quote this when I'm wrong, but the Rams could not have screwed that up more

Imagine pushing Matthew Stafford out the door for the worst Alabama QB in like 10 years

A lot more offensive tackles being picked than in any mocks.

Because NFL teams still have bad metrics on positional value.

This is like Christian Ponder going #11 because the 4 best QBs were off the board, and at least he was a QB.  It's a bad OT draft, so adjust

On the flip side, I really like Jermod McCoy.  But do I think he's a shutdown corner?  No.  So maybe they also value CBs like that.  Either you are a guy we trust to shut down a WR1, or you are just a dude.  And I don't disagree with that, so I think back 7 guys are losing value, because the gap between Pro Bowl and replacement level might be negligible.  You are either an All Pro talent, or you are replaceable

The Oregon guy is sort of a Purdue guy.  That's our new reality.
