I mean, if you hated defense, it was great.  Difference was Lions scored TDs, Cowboys kicked FGs.  Granted, Cowboys kicked FGs every time they crossed midfield, which is why it was close.

I believe I saw it was the first time a guy kicked three  55+ yard FGs in a game, long was 63, and it was comfortable.

Odd thing was Dan Kennedy, who was only active because Lions were down their top two TEs, and he is sort of a hybrid WR/TE they had to call up from the practice squad, was a killer on returns.  He took two kicks to midfield, including one to set up the clinching TD.  LaPorta is done for the season, and who knows with Wright, but he is such a ST weapon, you can't send him back.

All you missed was the resident Lions fan calling the second most penalized team in the league the NFL's favorite daughter.
If you've watched Lions-Cowboys games over the years, you'd get it.

And they did it again tonight.  Overturned a clear safety.  Missed three players offsides, plus an obvious DPI on a third down.  Missed an obvious false start on a play where they called an incorrect OPI, which was irrelevant because it was declined anyway.

The white house party was still probably epic, and Goodell was probably there

Did you catch the final replay they showed of the non-safety?  I agree, everything they showed for the first five minutes where the rules analyst was confounded looked like a safety.  Then they finally showed an angle that clearly showed Prescott was contacted with the ball completely out of the endzone, which is where it was marked, correctly, not for a safety.

I didn't know what to think about the non-offsides call.  They all jumped, but they didn't jump across the LOS.  I don't know the rules on that.  It looked offsides in real time, on replay they never came across until the ball was snapped, even though three of them jumped up out of their stance before the ball was snapped.  I know DLs can stunt, but what's the rules on jumping out of your stance if you're not moving into another gap?  Seems like that would be a penalty.....something like "attempting to induce a false start" or something.  Doesn't seem like lineman ought to be able to do that, but if they don't cross the los, I'm very unclear on the rules.  Amazon's rules guy wasn't very helpful there.

Commanders and Giants should join the Big Ten to round out an even 20 teams.  And it also will bump Purdue up out of the bottom rung.

Facking Browns lose at home to a 1-11 team :character0029: , Shedeur played lites out, passed for 364 yards and three touchdowns, and he also ran for a score. However, Sanders threw a costly interception in the third quarter that led to Tennessee’s go-ahead TD. The Titans had a 31-17 lead with 6:17 remaining before the Browns scored a pair of touchdowns. Sanders had a 7-yard scramble with 4:27 left and threw a 7-yard TD pass to Harold Fannin Jr. with 1:03 remaining

But the Browns missed both of their 2-point conversion attempts. Why the hell the stump Stefanski didn't take the 2 PATs that would have tied the game is unbelievably pathetic. The Asswipe shouldn't get paid the rest of the season for that shit beyond *&@#!$% ignorant.FFS.he pulled Shadduer then had a couple of RB throw some razzle-dazzle :017: They just find new ways to lose & pound a dagger in the fans heart -every-friggin- week :banghead:

I think we all think the automatic 4th down punt was stupid, but it has swung too far the other way in the NFL.

Its 10-10, not 40-40.  So you hand the other team a field goal in a game where points are at a premium, when even converting just means your drive continues at your own 32?
