Read a post on X that alleged Stalions was hired by Central Michigan as a consultant for the Michigan State game. No idea who Trevor McCue is other than a Michigan homie.

Central is alleged to have hired Stalions on to assist them against Michigan State. No ties involving Michigan were in its NOA.
Head coach Jim McElwain and QB coach Jake Kostner are no longer with the program.
— Trevor McCue (@trevormccue) <a href="

From 11W:
according to McClueless the slappie in question was hired in May of '22 and was filmed on Central Michigan's sidelines during their season opener against Michigan State on September 1, 2023.

Brohio:
Reminder. Stalions was not at CMU to steal MSUs signals. He already had them. He was primarily there to assist CMU. Connor is a narcissist that couldn’t resist revealing the layers of his “genius plan” like a bumbling Bond villain to a Netflix production crew he barely knew. You’re seeing the fallout now.

If Stalions was there on his own accord to help Central beat Sparty, and was paid by Central for that help, it absolves Michigan of any rule breaking that happened at Central. Which is likely why Michigan is not mentioned in the NOA the NCAA sent Central.

LMAO sure it does according to who?First it didn't happen. Then it had no impact. Then Connor was a lone wolf, as was Weiss. Now they'll circle back to a combination of everyone does it and/or it has no real impact. Now Michigan has the unfortunate position of trying to educate folks like the NCAA on how little of an advantage it was. They're on the trail and even Dave Portnoy said connor told him in the Netflix "Sign Stealer" he was on the CMU sideline. Throwing crap against the wall hoping something sticks

Trevor McCue admitted he hasn’t even seen Central Michigan’s NOA
So why was he out here writing a “nothing to see here” piece to clear Michigan?

Josh Henschke another credentialed Michigan reporter — has stated

“CMU’s punishment should arguably be MUCH worse than Michigan’s. You can make direct links to the CMU staff. Can’t for Michigan.”

I’m fairly confident Connor Stalions had a direct link to Michigan’s staff. Not even believable. It’s just shocking this is from supposed credentialed media

Wisconsin too.

I normally don't like to wish away time (especially as we all get older) but yeah, come on season. And the cool fronts that come with September/October. Skip the windy shit. All is well.

have a feeling they are going to be a great RB duo this year. Haynes was a 5* in the 2023 class and Marshall was a high 4* top 100 overall player in the 2024 class- per 247Composite.

Still shocked at how Edwards didn't develop. I thought he was going to be an absolute stud.

These guys seem more in this staff's wheelhouse though, as far as their skill set

agree on Edwards. I think Harbaugh, Moore, and Kirk Campbell really had zero clue how to use him. Edwards had amazing moments and flashed great talent and was key contributor to 3 teams that won the B1G and went to the CFP and won a national title- but he had zero consistency as a between the tackles runner and was feast or famine way too much.

His greatest strengths as a RB are his acceleration in the open field and his pass catching and route running abilities which are beyond elite for a RB. They tried to make him a between the tackles north/south runner and he just is not that- his vision behind the LoS was pretty poor imo, he danced too much, and he went down on contact too easily- despite being 6-foot-ish and 210+ pounds.

Haynes and Marshall are both between the tackles/north south runners. Perfect fits for the style of smash mouth run it down your throat football Sherrone Moore wants to play.

DC Wink Martindale quick hits from his presser today

- LB Cole Sullivan has completely changed his body.

- EDGE Cam Brandt is starter level and is "a bruiser.”

- they don’t want to rush safety Rod Moore back, and he’s working hard to get back. Rod says he's about 85% and close.

- EDGE Derrick Moore doesn't get enough credit. (agree there Wink, he's very good)

- porthole addition safety/nickel TJ Metcalf is very impressive, plays like he’s been in the system with the team 2 years (this is a very underrated pickup which will pay huge dividends imo)

Michigan's defense is going to be filthy this year, methinks. Bound to see drop off at DT, but should have more depth there-and should see real improvements in the secondary on the back-end, in the middle at LB, and at EDGE, and they will have more depth at every level of the defense than they did last season.

similar for the Husker's D

Don't know if they will be much better than last season but,........

I'm afraid of the Blackshirts D-Line will suffer in that game.
Only hope is that your frosh QB doesn't have a good game.
I'm still pickin the Wolverines in that one
