Urbz might be a sanctimonious douche.

But he is spot on with the point he is making. Unfortunately, it will never change.

Teams rewarded for kicking the shit out of cupcakes and that’s just a fact

Even posters on this board put statistics on here how great a player is or team is after they played three high school teams.   See me halfway through the conference schedule.

For sure Michigan’s non-conference schedule was weak.  Fans sure don’t like it.  They’ll make up for it somewhat next year.

this Michigan team is so frustrating to watch. I realize I'm complaining about them after they've beaten everybody they've played by about 4 TD's- but damn- they are so disjointed on offense and can't get clicking for 60 minutes- it's infuriating to watch.

JJ had a nice bounce back game- threw some great balls and didn't do any of that hero bullshit or force things into double coverage. They flat out NEED to get his legs more involved in the run game. It takes their run game to another level when they do. Just run him 4-5 times a game on designed runs and read option- just the threat of him doing that throws a defense off. The OL continues to be a work in progress bc they continue to bash their head against the wall and start Myles Hinton at RT- a guy who flat out stinks at football. The OL AGAIN looked much better for the second week in a row once Hinton hit the bench and LaDarius Henderson played at LT and Karsen Barnhart kicked back to RT- where he's played at a high level the last 2 years.

The defense is really good. They were without two of their very best players in DT Mason Graham and FS Rod Moore this week, and still were way too much for Rutgers to handle outside of a busted coverage play to start the game. The only weakness on that defense I am seeing is CB2. Josh Wallace is not it. And much like they are doing with Myles Hinton at RT these coaches continue to bash their head against the wall and refuse to give someone else a real shot to take the job. They need to start one of the frosh CB's in DJ Waller, Amorion Walker, Jyaire Hill, Cam Calhoun, or JaDen McBurrows and just see what they have. Enough with the Josh Wallace experiment. Ditto for Myles Hinton.

That’s good actually.  You don’t want them peaking early
The offense will be humming when it needs to.

you're probably right. we'll see. tis a long season.

I really liked what I saw out of true frosh WR Semaj Morgan. They need a guy in the slot to step up. Roman Wilson is the clear #1 WR and Colston Loveland is going to continue to get a lot of targets at TE. Cornelius Johnson is a very reliable #2. But they need more guys to step up at WR.

I am still baffled as to why they won't just settle the OL with Henderson at LT and Barnhart back out at RT.

They need to continue to get JJ more involved in the run game- the offense is so much harder to stop when teams have to worry about his legs. They don't need to run him 10 times a game- but 4-5 on designed runs and read options will really give defenses a pause and make them stay honest.

Corum and Edwards need to be on the field together a lot more. Those two together really put a defense in conflict- and Edwards is such a weapon as a pass catcher- run more two back sets. Please.

That is especially true for this Michigan team, this year.

From what we've seen out of the rest of the B1G, the "Big Three" of Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State (just alphabetical order) are vastly ahead of the other 11. Add to that Michigan's back-loaded schedule (PSU and tOSU are two of their last three games) and pathetic OOC and it appears that Michigan doesn't face a legitimate threat until Veterans Day.
