Still Florida's all-time leading sacker.  Sacked UT's Tee Martin 5 times in a game.

The guy so talented, he caused Saban to open up his offense going forward.

well I'll tell what ELA & myself responded with last year

-DBs evidently got a vote that year
-Which seems hard to do.  So isn't that MORE impressive?

And where the hell's the boy at? Did he run off to find Anonymous Coward? Hope all is well

I don't understand anything in this post.

Turner Gill turns his attention to building trust in Kansas football  program - ESPN

Turner Gill and Mike Rozier 1983 | Nebraska football, Cornhuskers football,  Nebraska cornhuskers football

he had the keys to one of the greatest offenses in NCAA history and operated it with the skill and precision of a race car driver. Take a moment to truly appreciate this: The 1983 Huskers, quarterbacked by Turner Gill, averaged 52 points and almost 550 yards of offense per game. Gill became the first Husker quarterback to rush for over 1,000 yards in a season. His greatness stretched back to his first start when he set a (then) school record with four touchdown passes in a game against Colorado.

Gill was named All Big 8 three times, finished fourth in the 1983 Heisman Trophy vote.
