P5 a perfect 0-5 in bowl games. Luckily, they don't have to face another G5 team until Friday.

Also, this 10:15 kick for Minny-West Virginia is unAmerican.

I understand the TV window maximization strategy, but there's not a soul on the planet that ever said, 'you know what would be a good idea, let's schedule 'must see' football games for New Year's Eve in prime time.'

It's such a weird mess.

The one thing I find most hilarious is that the Rose Bowl refuses to move, even though it moves once every 6 or so years. Just dumb for convince, so we can sidestep this nonsense.

Also, Air Force got to 10-3. Not a banner year for that offense, but by and large another good season.

Calhoun is basically trapped there, but he keeps building good teams.

I'm enjoying some leftover ham on croissants while watching the Gophers and Mountaineers.

Wow, Tanner Morgan is going for a 6th year next season.  That's fun.

He's a good example of a QB with a lot of buzz, but loses his toys (good WRs in 2019) and then falls off a cliff.

Is it just me, or does PJ Fleck look exactly like this character actor:

I feel like this is an archetype played out over and over in CFB.

"He was good, but some guys around we kind of know are very good left, can his veteran nature and leadership fill the void for team X?"

That's the plot of like a third of the team previews each year.

in all honesty, I think we'll learn a lot more about Georgia's schedule tomorrow when UNC plays South Carolina and Tennessee plays Purdue. If those two also lose like Auburn, Florida, and Missouri lost to G5/service academies, may have to start to really look closer at Georgia's schedule. Florida and Missouri in the East already lost to UCF and Army respectively. Auburn just lost to a G5. And if SEC-E starts 0-4, well maybe SEC-E was really just that freaking bad and Georgia may have cake-walked through an easy division and pretty weak OOC with UAB, FCS, Georgia Tech, and a Clemson team early that while still had a good defense also had an all-time bad horrific offense.
I'll help you out here. Even before all this, South Carolina was not helping UGA's schedule in the least. UT might have been, depending on the metric you use.

Not sure what the players think but lighting looks great in this baseball park for a football game.

Even more so when it falls on a Saturday.  Most people can stay up late without having to worry about going to work the next day.
The more guys that continue to opt out of these non playoff bowls, the more they need to figure it out. I am as in favor of maintaining the bowls as possible, but under the current structure, which doesn't, why are we prioritizing Ohio state's backups vs. Utah in am exhibition game?

Game going like I was afraid it might. WVU is actually running it ok but Brown keeps throwing and Minny keeps getting after Doege.  Feels like it’s about to get way from WVU.

This is what I'm thinking.....if this remains the norm, all non-playoff bowls won't "count" any longer, like way back in the day.  They'll just be exhibitions, largely a peek at the next season's talent, a la a spring jamboree scrimmage.

It's gross.
