Damn should that unlikely scenario take and the Bearcats won......Fickell could name his price
if Fickell won this whole thing...forget about naming his price in college.....I'd have to think NFL teams would also start coming after him as well and throwing piles of cash at him. He'd be the hottest commodity in coaching we've seen in awhile.

Houston up 10-6 on Auburn late in the 3rd.

SEC! SEC! SEC! might start off 0-4 after Florida lost to UCF, Missouri lost to Army, A&M forfeited, and Auburn on the verge of losing to Houston.

A&M didn't forfeit, they just brought in a better team to take their place.  :)

Doing some day drinking and watching what has been a pretty good game between Houston and Auburn.

Might need a nap before WVU kicks off at 10:15

If I were the CFB czar I would do away with the slide. If you are carrying the ball you are fair game. Protect yourself.

Why the hell are the playoff games NYE and not NYD?  What is the rationale? It’s a Saturday. It’s perfect.

Auburn goes down, 17-13 to Houston. SEC starts 0-4. They'll have an opportunity to get their first win tonight when Miss State plays Texas Tech.

I think the sec has lost 3 bowl games not 4
They won't let me give blood anymore. The burnt orange color scares the hell out of the doctors.

The Sugar and Rose Bowls  are not going to move off that day. The playoff will never be New Year's Day except 9 years where those two bowls are the playoffs

A&M forfeited. Counts as an L on my scoreboard.

in all honesty, I think we'll learn a lot more about Georgia's schedule tomorrow when UNC plays South Carolina and Tennessee plays Purdue. If those two also lose like Auburn, Florida, and Missouri lost to G5/service academies, may have to start to really look closer at Georgia's schedule. Florida and Missouri in the East already lost to UCF and Army respectively. Auburn just lost to a G5. And if SEC-E starts 0-4, well maybe SEC-E was really just that freaking bad and Georgia may have cake-walked through an easy division and pretty weak OOC with UAB, FCS, Georgia Tech, and a Clemson team early that while still had a good defense also had an all-time bad horrific offense.
