Texas Tech had a 33-10 lead at halftime, but the Sooners came roaring back, got it within 2, but couldn't finish it off

7:00 games:

  • #14 Florida State 41, #4 Florida 38 (OT)
  • Cincinnati d. #24 Temple
  • TCU d. Kansas
  • Colorado State d. #25 Boise State
  • Kentucky d. Louisville

A 48-yard field goal on the final play of regulation help the Gators erase a 10-point deficit in the final two minutes. After holding the Seminoles to just a field goal in the first half of overtime, Florida seemed prime to escape Tallahassee with a win, and their national title hopes intact. Instead, Kyle Trask fumbled the ball, Florida State recovered, and Florida ended the season with a hollow 10-2 record, that included losses to both of their rivals, and no shot at the SEC or national titles

7:30 games:

  • #17 Oregon 33, Oregon State 26
  • Appalachian State d. Troy
  • #20 Texas A&M d. LSU

A 20-0 Ducks lead could have been far worse if Oregon had converted a pair of Oregon State turnovers inside their own red zone into more than just 6 points.  The Beavers had a 4th and goal play with 16 seconds left to try and tie it, but a harassed pass fell well short of any receiver, and Oregon advanced to the conference title game.

8:00 game:

  • Notre Dame 38, #19 USC 17

The Irish scored a pair of defensive touchdowns, and Kedon Slovis was 2-17 on passes over 10 yards downfield.  Notre Dame's offense, particularly their running game, was pedestrian, but that wasn't needed.
