Brendan White headed to Rutgers
Looks like Schiano swung him, by all reports he was locked to MSU

Florida got a 5* RB from 2018.  I guess he heard our medical facilities were better than Miami's?

Nice for MSU.  Word that Jordon Simmons, who committed to MSU, but didn't sign, was waiting to see if Lingard was going to Florida.  If not, he was flipping.

Rumor is he might be going to Rutgers?

Also read on another board his approach had not always been the best, which maybe led to some friction with coaches. I only mention it because UW has only two returning proven WRs. One is 5-11, the other seemed to have talent as a freshman and has become less of a factor each season. PT was there for the taking.

Oh well. I'll miss that zone read package they gave him.

Indiana OT Coy Cronk enters the transfer portal as a grad transfer.

https://247sports.com/Article/Indiana-offensive-lineman-Coy-Cronk-has-entered-his-name-into-the-NCAA-transfer-portal-141860094/

This is an interesting one for Boiler fans (hence why I'm posting instead of our lone IU fan here). Cronk is from Lafayette, wanted to come to Purdue, and inexplicably was never offered by Darrell Hazell. Apparently there were some hard feelings about that.

Of course, Darrell Hazell is no longer in West Lafayette, and Purdue could use help on the OL.

I still consider it a bit of a long shot for him to come home to Purdue, given the history, but maybe he wants to finish his career where he wanted to start it.

He was also probably going to be moved to guard with the graduation of Stepaniak and Matthew Bedford’s emergence at LT. From what I’ve heard he was not all in on this despite that probably being his position in the NFL should he get that far.

I was trying to tag you in that post but couldn't remember your handle... I kept thinking it started with "Austin" because of Austin Peay, not realizing it ended with the school not started with it...

I had heard the same regarding a potential move to guard. That's actually one of the reasons I think a transfer to Purdue may be less likely. Our tackle spots are more shored up for 2020 than our guard spots. If Herrmanns was gone and we had a huge LT hole to fill, I would definitely think our chances were much higher. He could slot into the RT spot, as his competition will be RS Soph Will Bramel, but IIRC that RS Soph started all this year as a RS Fr, so it's not clear that Cronk would automatically beat him out.

That said, I also don't know if Cronk still harbors a grudge from Hazell spurning him... So that's a factor too.

Surely someone will transfer to Miss St. Now.    That qb roster is pretty sparse even wo the Pirate coming.

A lot of rumors that Peyton Ramsey will be transferring. Fresno State is probably looking like a good destination for him in every way but distance.

California [even Fresno] is a better destination than Indiana in every way but cost :57:
