Defensive back Darius Moore isn't done with football yet. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back from Iowa, who just finished up a productive sophomore season for the Iowa Western Community College Reivers, announced plans to walk-on at Nebraska.
Moore confirmed that he'll be joining the Huskers as a walk-on with Husker247 on Monday afternoon.
This past season Moore finished with 41 tackles, including 27 solo stops and a fumble recovery. The long defender said he feels his instincts often come alive on the field, allowing him to be in the right spot. That comes from plenty of preparation.
Moore has three years to complete two seasons of eligibility.
