I thought the Iowa-Nebraska series was developing into a rivalry of sorts. You have to give it more than 6-years to develop. When Nebraska joined the Big Ten I thought Nebraska would win around 65% of the games, and the fan bases would not look upon this as much of a rivalry.

With the series knotted at 3 apiece since Nebraska joined the conference, it was looking more like a rivalry game. Nebraska-Minnesota has been played a lot more times, so maybe they should have the game on Black Friday. I would enjoy seeing the back story on who pushed for which series to play the final game of the season.

It looks like they stuck with the same Parity schedule cross-overs for all six years from 2016 to 2021

And they are finishing the 6 year rotataion so that everybody will have played everybody at least twice in six years.

What will be interesting how will they do the next cycle starting in 2022.

Yeah, we pretty much knew exactly what the schedule would be. Now we just have the dates. 
I don't get all the recoiling in horror, followed by calls for Delany's head on a stake.

You got to figure if they keep the divisions the same, they might shake up the parity cross-overs for new cycle in 2022.  Maybe change them to this instead?

I don't have a strong feeling against this.  What's worse?  having all the crap non-con games the first three weeks and then being done or spreading them around so there are at least a few good games each week?
We've already discussed the crap line-up this coming Saturday.
I wouldn't be opposed to having a Northern Illinois game on late October or November to give the team a bit of a break.

Wouldn't count out Nebraska playing on black Friday yet.  Last several schedules showed them playing Saturday when released and both schools agreed to move them.  Might not happen, but still unclear.

I'd prefer the last game of the season help decide the winner of the west.  The Huskers haven't established themselves as one of the favorites year in and year out, but the Gophers certainly don't have that distinction.
I guess Big Jim thinks the Hawks and Badgers are the logical choice for the winners of the West.  That should put the curse on them.  

I'm with fearless on the early conference games.  I'd much rather have a few conference games sprinkled in than just have an entire lineup of absolute crap.  

I'm not sure I go as far as being in favor of playing UNI in late October but I think it would make sense and I would be in favor of spreading the three non-conference games over the first five weeks instead of stacking them all in the first three weeks.  

Ie, semi-traditional:
Week 1:  14 B1G teams play 14 OOC opponents.
Week 2:  14 B1G teams play 14 OOC opponents.  
Week 3:  14 B1G teams play 14 OOC opponents.  
Weeks 4-end:  14 B1G teams play each other.  

What we seem to be moving to:
Week 1:  2 B1G games and 10 B1G teams play 10 OOC opponents.  
Week 2:  14 B1G teams play 14 OOC opponents.  
Week 3:  2 B1G games and 10 B1G teams play 10 OOC opponents.  
Week 4:  3 B1G games and 8 B1G teams play 8 OOC opponents.  

What I would prefer:
Week 1:  2 B1G games and 10 B1G teams play 10 OOC opponents.  
Week 2:  2 B1G games and 10 B1G teams play 10 OOC opponents.  
Week 3:  3 B1G games and 8 B1G teams play 8 OOC opponents.  
Week 4:  3 B1G games and 8 B1G teams play 8 OOC opponents.  
Week 5:  4 B1G games and 6 B1G teams play 6 OOC opponents.  
Week 6-end:  14 B1G teams play each other.
