Big Ten always seems to crap the bed in these September Pac 12 road games
Honestly didn't see it coming, The Red Cedar Board was on fire
Suburbia:Where they tear out the trees & then name streets after them.

They also lost to a pretty bad Cal team early in MD's tenure.  The loss at Marcus Mariota's Oregon team is forgivable
I don’t know why this interested me, but I looked back at it.

Those games are always weird because we remember how they felt in the moment. That Cal team ended up pretty Ok (9-4), and the Arizona State team was very mediocre, but so was MSU.

Anyway, no real point to that other than I’m groggy this morning and was curious.

The way I calculate my number for the previews, had MSU by 12.  I gave Washington a full TD swing from my number, and still had MSU by 5.  The OL is still a big problem.  And the secondary is as well, particularly the safeties.  The pass rush covered it up the first two games, but Washington neutralized it.  The front seven wasn't bad, but it wasn't good, and certainly not great.  And if they aren't great, the secondary is going to get exposed

Sparty only had 42 yards rushing.  Wow.

No Doak award winner portaled in this year I guess.
A decade of Victory over Penn State.

All in since 1969
