Custom game boards with or without charts added in
« on: October 04, 2019, 11:46:06 AM »
Does anyone have or are you thinking of making a custom game board with charts added? Inked gaming feels like they can make a game mat that would include all of these. Might add to the gameplay experience! Thoughts....

We didn't go with a pretty game board or even a game box to keep prices as low as we could.

Once the initial burst of orders are all sent out, we can look into other options/ideas.  Thank you for posting here and all feedback is welcome!

The game in itself was an amazing amount of work! I so appreciate that we now have a C&D option for College football!!! Thanks again!

Hello OrangeAfroMan,

I ordered (#304) your fantastic looking and, so far, highly rated game and I am only asking this out of pure curiosity, but did you ever consider creating a card for a back-up QB in case of ineffectiveness of the starter or a blow out?

Also, again out of curiosity, am I your first customer from Louisiana?

Can't wait for my game to arrive!  Thank you !

Marcus

Most backup QBs' stats are either so good or so poor in a small sample, that it wouldn't work well.  We do include 2 QBs if both have a good percentage of the attempts in a given season (2018 UCLA, 1993 Florida, etc).

I believe you're the first LA customer!

No rush on this, but do you have 2 QBs for....

OU '85 (Aikman and Holieway)?
N '94 (Frazier and Berringer)?

Good question.

For 85 OU, you would get both QB cards for passing.  Holieway would have a good portion of the team's rushing attempts, so the thinking is if you used Aikman, it would be understood that you're playing both QBs - Aikman on non-Holieway runs and passes, and it would play as if you were putting Holieway in just to run the ball (think Belldozer's first 2 seasons, with Landry Jones).  If that makes sense.

For 94 Nebraska, you'd just get Berringer.  Frazier doesn't have 'enough' pass or rush attempts to merit inclusion, AND EVEN IF HE DID, his passing stats are so poor, you wouldn't put him in.  Yes, he bailed them out in the NCG, but I'm not going to skew the numbers to include him.  If someone loves Tommie Frazier, they need to pick up the 93 or 95 Huskers.

Update - we've included Tommie Frazier for the '94 Huskers.  His passing stats aren't great, but he can contribute and if you want to re-create his theatrics in the '95 Orange Bowl vs Miami, you can.

We have also changed the cardstock field to a cloth one.  The first down markers are altered to align with it.
